Test driving a car allows you to see how the vehicle you want performs. You can learn first-hand how the brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and other systems operate. You can also detect any problems with any of these systems. At Bueno Used Cars, we want to give you the best possible experience while test-driving one of our vehicles. Here are a couple of things to look for during your test drive.

Android Auto allows drivers to connect their Android smartphone to the infotainment screen on the dashboard inside of their vehicle to use different features. You can see an overview of all of your Android apps in one place to play music, make phone calls, or send text messages while spending time in the vehicle. The feature also makes it easy to get directions to your destination with the navigation feature, as well as use Google Assistant with different commands that are performed.

Performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), LATCH evaluations assess the accessibility and overall usability of the lower anchors and tethers for children that all modern vehicles include. Shopping for a car in Phoenix can be especially challenging when you have young children to accommodate and protect. These assessments aim to make it easier. At Bueno Used Cars, we want to help locals understand what LATCH evaluations mean and why they're worth paying attention to.

Driving can be a lot of fun, but it can also be stressful and dangerous. Road trips are even more so, especially when driving with your kids.

When you're planning your next trip, consider these safety tips:

• Plan ahead. Make sure you have enough food and water for everyone, along with any other supplies that might be needed. Pack lightly and make sure everything is easy to access during an emergency.

• Keep your eyes on the road! Driving can be tiring, especially if you're traveling long distances or unfamiliar territory. Make sure everyone gets enough sleep before starting…

Hydroplaning may give young drivers a momentary thrill, but it’s also something that can be very dangerous. Hydroplaning occurs when the tires are on top of water rather than on the road.

• Reduce Speed – If you’re on wet roads or see standing water, slow down and avoid using cruise control.
• Avoid Puddles – Try to avoid driving through puddles or standing water.
• Turn Correctly – If your car starts to slide, turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction of where it’s sliding.
• Tire Maintenance – Inspect your tires regularly to make sure they have good thread and air pressure…

A dash cam is a vehicle that is mounted to the top of your car. Dash cams are better quality today than they were in the past. They are also becoming less expensive. If you do not have one, then it is a good idea for you to invest in one. You may be able to challenge a ticket if you have a dash cam. For example, if you get a ticket for speeding, then the dash cam can prove that you were driving within the speed limit.

You can also use the evidence from a dash cam to settle…

One of the best additions to modern vehicles is increased towing capacities. Being able to tow large loads with a regular-sized SUV or smaller pickup truck gives drivers versatility. Now when you change houses, you don't have to rent a truck to move your belongings.

If you're new to towing, then you might not be familiar with the different style of driving that towing large loads requires. It's important to remember that once your trailer is hooked up correctly and you're out on the highway, you need to be careful when approaching high speeds.

Purchasing a used car could lead to getting a great deal on an excellent car, but rushing into the process might not be advisable. A deliberate approach to used car shopping in Phoenix involves researching what model delivers reliability, fuel economy, safety, and other top features.

Would-be buyers should figure out what type of car best suits them. Maybe now is the time to switch to a smaller vehicle instead of buying another SUV. No matter what car someone chooses to purchase, selecting one that fits within a budget could make the process more affordable.
